Annette Forrest is passionate about food, fresh produce and cooking. 

She truly appreciates the value of quality fresh ingredients in particular seasonal fruit and vegetables.  Annette's vast experience in the food industry and love of travel expands her knowledge of food and ensures that she is always ahead of trend.

Annette comes from a family of talented home cooks. She treasures her great grandmother, grandmother and her mum's cookbooks, and loves cooking for her family and friends.

She commenced her career in seafood promotion, leading the team that launched the Sydney Seafood School at Sydney Fish Markets. Her extensive knowledge of fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables was gained from many years collaboration with Sue Dodd at Sydney Markets, and the Sydney Markets is one of her favourite haunts in Australia! 

Annette has received numerous accolades for recipe writing, including Best Recipe Writing in Advertising at the 2010 Australian Food Media Awards for her work with Sydney Markets. Her work also features in advertising for leading food companies.

If she is not eating or cooking and has time to herself, Annette loves fossicking through antique and collectable markets searching for old cutlery and eclectic wooden pieces.
